An introduction to Ramesh D Mistry

Your career to date?
I have been involved in Financial Services for some 32 years now. Since graduating from the University of Bradford in June 1978 I have been through a fantastic journey. This occupation has given me great delight in seeing my clients achieve their goals and those of their families. I hope to assist many more to do so in the coming years.

To keep pace with the changing legislation I have passed the appropriate exams. I continue to study to enhance my knowledge so my clients receive the best advice possible. I work with people who have a great wealth of experience and expertise in niche markets and who are willing to share this to ensure that I deliver a quality service.

I am married with two boys Dev 18 and Ash 16. Dev is at University and Ash is studying for his GCSE's. We enjoy family life. This ethos is extended to my clients who over the years have become close friends and trusted colleagues. I enjoy a variety of interests including listening to music in general and speech radio. I not only love listening to motivational speakers but putting their theory into practice both in my work and private life. They have helped me a great deal in enhancing the quality of work and family values.

I strive to deliver the best at all times and look forward to meeting and working with new and current clients in the future.

What do you specialise in?

Share your goals with people as this will lead to them being achieved. As people with writen goals actually achieve them.

Which areas of financial planning do you feel an individual should be addressing in the next 2 years?
Planning to save for the medium to long term. Savings for childrens education.

What is the most common mistake you find individuals make in financial planning?
Not addressing their financial needs well in advance and then later hoping for a quick solution.

As an independent financial adviser what, for you, are the main benefits of being a part of Honister Partners Ltd?
The advantage as I see it is that we have a wealth of experience which we are willing to share, ensuring we deliver the most desirable solution to benefit the clients.
