Over 35 years experience giving financial advice to individuals. I have been an Independent Financial Adviser for over 25 years, including previously as a Building Society Manager.

High level of 3 business professional qualications completed in Banking, Chartered Secretaries, and Personal Financial Advice.

Already qualified to give advice for new mandatory qualifications required for advisers, starting December 2012.

Discuss risk profile in detail with your adviser. It is critical in these volatile and uncertain economic times that your adviser also has a good grasp of economic issues that impact on risk/reward.

Clients do not discuss in great detail risk/reward with their financial adviser. They are not fully aware of inflation risks and how this reduces the real value of money.
