An introduction to Ben Webster

Your career to date?
From 1990 to 1998, I started as a financial adviser and then moved into management with ‘General Portfolio’ / GAN.

From there I became one of the founders of Millfield Partnership and initially a ‘Private Client’ IFA before moving onto specialising in employee benefits.

Millfield then evolved into Opal Benefits, which I am the co-founder of. Opal specialise in employee benefits and the provision of holistic financial advice to its clients.

Ben Webster represents Opal Benefits which is a trading name of Honister Partners Ltd.

What is your strongest childhood memory?
Wading in the river at the bottom of my garden.

You have one flight, where would you go and why?
Costa Rica - more wildlife than you can shake a stick at.

Who would be your three guests at a dream dinner party?
David Attenborough, Anthony Hopkins and Scarlett Johansson.

Global warming, fact or fantasy?
Factasy.

BA or easyJet?
BA.

What was the last major change in your life and why?
Having a daughter. She gives me something to smile about every day.

Ceylon or Java first thing in the morning?
Yorkshire Tea.

If money was no object what would you buy tomorrow?
A country Georgian mansion

A winter break, sun or snow?
Lake Tahoe in the spring, you get both.
